Internships

Gaining international experience in fundraising and program development is possible through an internship at SAFRG. We are happy to host students and young professionals from India and abroad for 3-6 month internships at our Delhi office.  Please contact us with your current CV/resume and a short cover letter stating your interest in SAFRG and any questions you might have. Currently we are looking for:


Intern - Summer 2010
21st SAFRW Marketing
Directly responsible for:
- Organizing databases
- Online research
- Support processes for 21st SAFRW
Skills required:
- Coordination and Networking
- Excellent Internet skills
Duration:  2 months
 
Intern - Summer 2010
Fundraising Research
Directly responsible for:
- Complete Literature Review
- Write Concept Note
- Create Budget
- List potential funders
Skills required:
- Research
- Good writing skills
- Essential English language skills
Duration:  3 months


Intern - Summer 2010
SAFRW 17-20 Follow-Up
Directly responsible for:
- Creating Questionnaire
- Sending to all SAFRW attendees  & Collating responses
- Write document on the impact of SAFRW
- Put process is in place for 21st SAFRW
- Write paper with results, publish on web
Skills required:
- Communication
- Coordination and Networking
Duration:  2 months
 
Intern - AY 10/11
Overall Support
Directly responsible for:
- Support to CEO
- Logistical Support
- Creation and editing of documents
- Support to SAFRG board
- Tasks as assigned
Skills required:
- Communication
- Coordination
- Prior work experience preferred
Duration:  6 to 9 months
 
 
Volunteer at the Annual Workshop
 

Two months before our Annual Workshop we actively recruit young people to volunteer at our event. It is a great opportunity for young people interested in fundraising to receive free accommodation, food and attendance at the workshop sessions in exchange for helping with the logistics and management of the workshop.

 

 

 
Volunteer as a Consultant

SAFRG is always updating programs and seeking support for program evaluation and resource development, do you have expertise in these areas? Are you a development professional, a fundraiser, an experienced marketer? We would love to hear how you could help us achieve our goals and build capacity for voluntary organizations!
